What is better to get back on feet than cycling? That’s exactly what the doctors said to Xavier. To get prepared for the departure, we cycled three days from Lindau on the eastern part of the Lake of Constance till Colmar in France. 

We crossed the Black Forest and biked for the first time under the snow (and the rain on lower altitude). We had a great stay at our warmshowers host family. Thanks James for the pictures and for showing us the way down to Freiburg through the forest under the snow.

Back to France, we had a great stay at Xavier’s grand-parents and Angélique took her way to her family (by car pooling). 

Xavier cycled the way back in four days with @prajwalc along the Rhein. 

Soon, we’ll be on our way to China.
